It was named spaghetti by Antonia Viviani in 1842, from the Italian word "spago" meaning rope. At first, it was 50 cm long, but due to space and time constraints, it was shortened to its current 25 cm length.

Usage Suggestions
Boil plenty of water by adding salt.
